Botanical Name: Rumex crispus
Components: A perennial herb, yellow dock produces multiple clusters of three-winged flowers and a stout root that is bright yellow below the bark. This root is ground into a fine powder.
Overview: Yellow dock root is known as a blood purifier and general detoxifier, especially for the liver. The phytonutrients in this herb are high in antioxidants which reduce oxidative stress within the body caused by free radicals. Yellow dock root is also great for the skin and can be used to treat a variety of conditions including psoriasis, eczema, and acne.
