Components: Over 200 different species of this tree grow throughout Europe and northeastern North America. The tart, vibrant fruit of the hawthorn has multiple therapeutic uses, but is mainly known as a cardiovascular supplement.
Overview: Hawthorn is believed to improve both the physical and emotional aspects of the heart. It improves the heart muscle’s metabolism, allowing for better contractions, and protects blood vessels and other tissue from oxidizing damage.
