Components: Although it is commonly referred to as ginger root, ginger is actually an underground rhizome. A perennial plant native to Asia, ginger is now grown in several tropical countries. It is part of the plant family that includes turmeric.
Overview: Best known for its ability to ease nausea and relieve digestive disturbances, ginger’s abundance of phytochemicals and antioxidants also boost immunity, cleanse the lymphatic system, kill fungal infections, and relieve inflammation and pain.
